| As part of our commitment to customer service ctc TrainCanada has developed the
TrainLive Remote Classroom Instruction system (RCI). TrainLive makes it possible
for students from multiple locations to attend the same course in real time with
a live instructor. Classes are held simultaneously at any one of our 10 campuses
across Canada where a Microsoft Certified Trainer (MCT) delivers the course
through a combination of technologies to provide a classroom experience that is
just like being there. In fact, we think it’s better!

| The instructor sits at the front of the room and looks at the back of the
students computer. |
The instructor has the student’s monitor facing them at all times allowing them
to monitor the student continuously ensuring they never fall behind.

TrainLive students often learn in private classrooms or small groups of two or
three. |
| In a “normal” classroom the instructor’s monitor is projected on a screen and
they use a whiteboard which is big and easy to see. |
The TrainLive instructor’s monitor and the TrainLive electronic whiteboard are
projected in real time to all remote locations simultaneously. Students can also
save the contents of the whiteboard for future reference. |
| Technical training only has a 40% chance of running as scheduled. |
The class has a 90% chance of being Guaranteed to Run as scheduled. |
| The instructor can take control of the students mouse and keyboard and assist
them when required. |
The instructor can take control of the student’s mouse and keyboard remotely
without forcing the student to move aside or hovering over their shoulder. |
| Students sometimes have to travel to another city incurring travel and
accommodation expenses. |
TrainLive students go home to their families at the end of the day and sleep in
their own beds. |
"I just wanted to let you know that I really enjoyed the method of
delivery of the course that I took at your office recently. I feel that I got a
lot more out of this course and felt more involved than I have in most of the
courses I have taken in the past, even though it was in a remote/virtual
classroom setting. Although I was in a different location than the others, I
felt more involved than ever. The class was very easy going and comfortable, I
had no hesitation in being involved and asking questions, where in a “normal”
classroom situation I would have. I was not afraid to “put up my hand” and ask
questions or comment, most likely due to the anonymity of the situation. I also
felt it was very helpful to have the instructor able to recognize when I was
having a problem and help before moving on. I never felt like I was left behind
and scrambling to catch up as I have in other classroom situations. That really
helps to make sure you are not missing information while you are busy trying to
catch up while the rest of the class is moving forward. I prefer this method of
learning to any other I have experienced in the past, and in the future I would
seek out classes delivered in this manner over “normal” classroom situations.
